Our mission

Our mission is to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the Kingdom of God in all the world, to make disciples of those whom God the Father draws (John 6:44) from all nations (Matthew 28:19), and to care for those disciples.

What we believe

We follow the example of Jesus and the apostles in keeping the Ten Commandments – including observing the Sabbath on the seventh day of the week, Saturday. We also observe the annual holy days of God as these holidays reflect God’s plan. For example, Christ was crucified on the very day of Passover (Nisan 14), God’s Holy Spirit came on the very day of Pentecost (Firstfruits). Likewise, we expect the return of Jesus Christ to be associated with the Day of Trumpets (Rosh Hashanah) at the sounding of ‘the last trumpet’. On that great day in the near future, Jesus Christ will return to this earth to establish God’s peaceful government over all peoples and nations. He will do this at a time when humanity is on the verge of destroying itself if God does not intervene.

And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened (Matthew 24:22).

The Good News and Gospel

The word gospel comes from the Greek and means good news. Christ’s preaching was the good news of the coming of God’s kingdom: “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all nations, and then the end will come” (Matthew 24:14). The gospel of the kingdom is the good news of God’s kingdom, of God’s family that Christ came from the Father to bring. This good news has everything to do with the birth of God’s children into the kingdom and God’s plan to multiply and bring many children into glory (Hebrews 2:9-10). The good news is the fact that Christ has redeemed man from eternal death and has made possible entrance into God’s kingdom, whereby those who are called and chosen by God and have overcome, with God’s help, can enter into God’s glory as eternally living children of God. Therefore the gospel of God’s kingdom is also called “the gospel of glory” (1 Timothy 1:11). Paul wrote the following about this glory:

“Therefore I endure all things for the sake of the elect, that they also may obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory” (2 Timothy 2:10).

“When Christ, who is our life, appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory” (Colossians 3:4).

“Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature"
